If you are looking for labels with high quality, comparable to offset, with a small print run and possibly variable printing, then digitally printed labels are ideally suited for you.
Digital printing is made up of the four so-called Full Color CMYK colors, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and (Key) Black. They could be supplemented by an opaque white on transparent substrates. In addition to printing, it is possible to for the label to be finished with a varnish or laminate. Digitally printed labels can be supplied in both sheet and roll.
Just as for flexo, it is also possible to use different materials for digital printing, such as paper, plastics and foils. All are available with a variety of adhesives.
A special kind of digitally printed label is the so-called no-label look labels. In this case the label is printed on a very transparent material, usually polypropylene (PP), where only the printing remains visible during the application of the label. This type of label has a very high quality look and is often used for cosmetic products.
